We are looking for an experienced Data Software Engineer to develop new systems and maintain existing systems.

We build software for Solar Developers. Our clients find sites for solar power projects, finance these projects, install the solar panels, and monitor the solar projects for the lifetime of their use. For us, supporting the people that are actually making a difference in the fight against climate change, is our purpose.

Our software helps these companies manage their business and ensure their solar installations are producing power. We deal with a lot data analytics, data science and data engineering.

We will ask you to:

1) develop new system based on specifications from our client
2) maintain existing systems built in Python, Airflow and AWS
3) [optional] present your work on project completion to our client

Experience in dealing with our stack is the most important factor in our selection criteria. On your response to this job post, please lead with experience related to data engineering projects using Python, Airflow and AWS. If you have experience working in the solar industry or dealing with data from the energy sector this is a big deal for us as well.
