Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a unique SMS-based event memory capture platform. In our quest to reduce initial startup costs, we have opted for a manual approach, focusing on streamlining the process of collecting and sharing event memories. As the Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in building the backend infrastructure to support this innovative solution.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to understand the requirements and objectives of the SMS-based event memory capture platform.
- Design and implement the backend architecture using Node.js and MongoDB, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Integrate SMS service providers, such as Twilio, to enable prompt delivery and capture of media files from event attendees.
- Develop automated systems to manage media uploads, associate files with specific prompts, and organize them efficiently.
- Create a user-friendly gallery/feed to display the captured media files with corresponding prompts and captions.
- Ensure the seamless generation and sharing of private links to the gallery with customers at the end of the week.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and MongoDB for backend development.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating third-party services.
- Familiarity with SMS service providers, such as Twilio, and their APIs for messaging workflows.
- Proficiency in handling file uploads and managing cloud storage solutions, such as Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage.
- Experience in developing user-friendly galleries or feeds for media display on websites.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to develop efficient and scalable solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for seamless integration with the existing WordPress website.
- Knowledge of WordPress plugins and customization for creating engaging galleries.
- Familiarity with other cloud service providers and their APIs for enhanced functionality.
