I am posting on behalf of a company which manages international professional society websites and conferences.
Several of the company's clients are looking to modernise their websites. They all have a large professional member base, as well as content which can only be accessed by registered, paid-up, logged-in members. This includes events, resources and webinars.
A UI/UX designer is already on the team; only a developer is needed.
There are currently a few proposed projects:
- A very large law-specific society with over 10,000 members. Currently this uses Netforum for management of user data and content access.
- A sister website to this, also with 10,000+ members, which can share some of the assets.
- A conference site for the above society, which will be used as a template for the yearly conference site.
- A large UK-based society, also related to law, which also requires a geolocation search for visitors to find their nearest professional member and contact them.
Of course, much more detail is available for each project to anyone who comes on board and signs the company's NDA. However, what I can say is that the last project in the list above is already 60% built using Wordpress and Elementor, so the ability to take that to completion is a big bonus. The company is also interested in teams or agencies to ensure reliable and consistent support into the future.
Note that I'm a developer previously working with this company, helping them to find a replacement. I'll forward on the details of any suitable candidates. I won't be responding to any proposals that are just copy-and-pasted or don't relate to the project. Hourly/project rates are to be organised with the client; I only provided a guideline.
Hourly Range: $40.00-$75.00
