We are seeking an experienced Python engineer with a proven track record and at least 5 years of professional experience to join our team to develop an automated digitizing and QAQC tools plug-in for QGIS. The tool will be developed in three parts and this is the first part. The developer will be responsible for developing the necessary code for the automated digitizing and QAQC tools plug-in. The successful candidate should have experience in QGIS plug-in development and be familiar with the following skills:
- QGIS Plugin Development
- Python Programming
- Geospatial Analysis
- Quality Assurance
- Cartography

Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy robust Python applications and scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the performance and reliability of the applications.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience (5 years+) in Python, GIS, QGIS, Django, DRF, QGIS plugin development.
- Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Daily reporting via the provided online timesheet is mandatory
- Must provide verifiable proof of work on daily progress
- Full-time developer that able to dedicate 12 hours on daily basis to work on the project with expected total time 850+ hours for 2.5 months. Freelancing or partime is not allowed.
- Shall be reachable via whatsapp from 9am to 9pm on daily basis and response immediately
- Does not have ghosting or missing in action habit
- Must be fit and will not provide medical excuses
- Must clarify immediately with the employer in case of any unclear task
- Must write a very clear and detail SOW prior commencement of work and shall be mutually agreed and approved by the employer

Project Phase
- Part 1 : USD2,500. Delivery in 2.5 month. Lump sum payment after full delivery. No milestone payment
- Part 2 : USD2,500.  Delivery in 1.5 month. Lump sum payment after full delivery. No milestone payment
- Part 3 : USD1,250. Delivery in 0.5 month. Lump sum payment after full delivery. No milestone payment

Delivery
- Partial delivery is not accepted
- Employee must complete the whole scope of work, Mandatory
- Delayed Delivery shall not be allowed.
