Type: ad-hoc/part-time – flexible hours Location: Remote work with teams in Australia, Europe, and USA Company: A fast-growing People Analytics Start-up – Agile HR Analytics We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated data engineer to join our rapidly growing People Analytics start-up. As a data engineer, you will play a key role in expanding our product’s connectivity to different HCM systems. You will also work on projects for our clients to build data infrastructure ensuring the smooth operation of their data pipelines and the accuracy of the data. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Azure and Power Automate. • Implement and maintain data storage solutions, such as data lakes and data warehouses. • Work closely with the data science and analytics team to ensure data is available for analysis and insights. • Clean, process, and prepare data for analysis and visualization in Power BI. • Ensure data systems are secure and adhere to privacy and compliance regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA • Optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency. Requirements: • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions. • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and data pipelines. • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps are desirable. • Experience with SQL and Python for data processing and manipulation. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA • • Experience in the People Analytics industry is a plus. • Knowledge of extracting data from HCM systems such as Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, etc. will be desirable.
