I am looking for an experienced CPP Linux developer that can implement the NIP-42 specification into the open source project known as strfry.

This is a straightforward, well defined task, but I am wanting to pay a generous rate for experienced talent that executes the job with high quality, organized code, with unit tests that are consistent with the current project. Sloppy solutions will not fly for this job.

Your code will be delivered as an open pull request to the project contributors, and to some extent, the success of this job is in our ability to get this change merged into main (although obviously, your compensation will be based on your hours).

Who am I? I am an experienced backend Swift, C & Linux developer of over 10 years, building software for two companies that is be deeply rooted in the nostr protocol. So to whatever extent you have questions about how nostr works, or even about LMDB, I am more than happy to assist. You will have a resource in me to provide useful insight to your questions.

No experience with nostr or LMDB required.

Those who demonstrate skilled examples of CPP contributions will be strong considerations. Experience with Linux is a bonus.
