I have a simple Python app that sends specific midi sysex packets. I'd like to add 3 combo boxes or a "settings" menu to the app, which would do the following: allow user to select from available midi in and out ports connected to the computer. Allow user to select the midi channel the app will send its data on. Relay any incoming midi data to the output port. Send sysex packets from the app using the out port. The project is very small in scope and shouldn't take long for an experienced python developer to handle.
