Robot Simulator Task: ROS file to be converted into webot and merged with a webot folder w/pycharm - Upwork
I am looking for someone preferably with a backround in ROS, Webot, and Pycharm that can take 2 files (one file in webot and another file in ROS) and make both files run on the Webot simulator. File 1 is a darwin 2 leg walking robot that is supposed to be trained via the controller files so there is no need to maneuver it via the keyboard. The second ROS file is for walking up and down stairs but it uses a 4 legged robot so this function will need to go into the darwin 2 legged robot as the functionality is the same with 2 cut off legs essentially. There will need to be a second world created to have stairs and the functions from ROS should move over to Webot. I use a Mac m1 machine and have parallels windows 11 so this is why i suggested pycharm in an effort to do this task faster and smoother. Please look at the attached files as well as this link for the ROS file here: and the paper where the stairs algo came from. This should be a quick task and if you're successful we have other tasks similar which we are looking for talented freelancers to work together with us on.
