Summary:

We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our agile team on a contract basis. In this role, you will work closely with our users, understanding their questions and queries, and leveraging our rich data sets to provide them with meaningful insights. Your role is critical in helping users comprehend the narrative our data reveals about their business, primarily through developing user-centric reports and captivating visualizations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment, with the ability to handle uncertainty, adapt to changing priorities, and isn't afraid to get hands-on with data.


Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborating closely with users to understand their data-related questions and needs.

* Actively working with data, including cleaning, transforming, and analyzing it to find insights, trends, and patterns.

* Implementing row-level security in data access and analysis.

* Creating user-friendly reports and visualizations that effectively communicate the story our data tells.

* Interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques.

* Developing and refining data collection systems to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

* Presenting insights and narratives derived from data in an easily understandable manner.

* Working within an agile team, adapting to fast-paced changes and handling uncertainty.



Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or a related role.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

* Proficient in SQL. Experience with ClickHouse is a plus, but not a requirement.

* Understanding of row-level security and data privacy principles.

* Proficiency in data visualization tools and software, particularly embedded BI solutions such as Cumul.io, Sisense, Holistics, PowerBI, Looker, and Qlik.

* Ability to work in an agile team setup, and comfortably handle uncertainty and changing priorities.


We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and the contract will last until the end of June/early July. This position is fully remote and can be either part-time or full-time with a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week. Working hours are flexible, but availability during regular business hours (German Time Zone, CET/CEST) is required to align with team collaboration needs.
